A delightful surprise - a beautiful period property. We booked last minute and stayed in one of the guest lodges. Stylish decor, very clean and well appointed. Warm and cosy (cold December). Extremely helpful and accommodating reception team (Amy). Lovely Sunday roast in the restaurant - food was excellent - waiting staff were attentive. We left very early the next day to catch a flight. The taxi booked by the hotel, arrived on time and the night manager was lovely and helped us on our way. We’ll be back.

The hotel was lovely, The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was really lovely. I wasn't able to stay for supper or breakfast unfortunately but will certainly make the effort to stay again and to try the meals.

Poor signage for the hotel at the entrance of its road. It was dark and difficult to find but once found, it was worth it
