Garner Hotel Cologne Porz - Airport by IHG

Everything was spot on as you would expect in Germany and what a fantastic city Cologne is to.

I chose this hotel based mainly on price! It is located about 10km from Central Cologne but it is connected directly to the airport by a bus that goes 24 hours and directly to the centre by the U-bahn. The public areas are tired and the breakfast very expensive but the room I was allocated was spotless. For the price paid this was a great choice

Our room was perfect and making our stay just that much better.

The room was ok... I did ask for a quiet room away from elevators, etc (quiet!) what I got was a second floor street facing room where work was being carried out so I could hear that. The room was also cold as the window was open - its WINTER!!!! Cleaning crew need to dust a little better :-)

the hotel and location was decent but not the greatest not really near any pubs or center square. the rooms bathroom stunk of feces and the hallways had a weird scent to them like the carpet hasn't been cleaned for few years

I only got a very short stay but the staff was great, the room very clean and in good condition and great value for money. Didn’t have time for breakfast or exploring the area.

I won’t prefer going there again .very far from cologne cathedral and breakfast is expensive

Nice room, friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to köln centre via metro

request for iron no one try to find one and customer can not call from the hotel anywhere not even local calls. the receptionist was so rude told me to go outside find a telephone I had to go beg for phone from people in the stores. while she could at least dial the phone for me just to tell my family I arrived. and then when my family member came to visit me she made him wait for at least an hour before calling me that someone is here to see you.
