Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Franklin

The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and available 24/7 with any help you might need. This is a good location to a lot of fast food restaurants and not too far from downtown.

Our TV drove us nuts....kept getting louder and louder, couldn't turn it off . An employee came and unplugged it. h

The room door wouldn’t lock unless you lift up on the handle frame. We came back in the evening and our door was unlocked from housekeeping coming to make our bed. No fridge or microwave

As they say you get what you pay for. Barely any water pressure to shower Staff was very nice

No elevator, bad pillows.

Missed fine print of no elevator…no 1st floor room when requested. Health issues. Tub & sink stopped up. Room very small. A/C vibrated loudly!

PLEASE NOTE - this hotel has NO ELEVATOR!!! That is left off of the hotel info. This hotel has a tiny lobby, no seating, small desk with glass to talk thru, I do not think the lobby picture is the same hotel. The breakfast area is more like in a large closet. So overvalued for no elevator and teeny, tiny rooms with creepy mirrored wall to try to make it look bigger! The building is old and outdated. The floor mats were dirty and so were the stair wells. The ac did work well, but I could hear the unit coming on next to me and it sounded like the loud spin cycle in a washing machine with a buzz. Only shampoo provided, no conditioner, did have a hairdryer. I paid $265, ridiculous, with a $45 pet fee. If you fall down the stairs trying to carry your things to your room, with a pet, not sure on how Wyndham's insurance covers that, probably $0! The breakfast was sparce, ready made egg and sausage biscuit in a plastic wrap. Cereal with milk that was in a glass pitcher which was not in a refrigerator or cooling canister. Had a waffle maker that was gross. The orange juice tasted very strange and so did the coffee, not exaggerating. It was raining when checking out and there is no drive under front, so you and your things and pet gets wet. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone!!! I do not know how any travel booking site would even list this hotel. Only positive is cool ac, at least in my tiny room, no individual thermostat, a PTAC unit. It is highway robbery to pay this amount for this place! I am writing Microtel.

Breakfast

The woman at the front desk started bout saying they didn’t take dogs -n when we could clearly see dogs on the premises. After I pointed it out and reminded her we had reservations, she began a game of the cost for the dogs. She started out at $40.00each. When I started to leave, she came down to $45 total. We stayed, but will never go back.
