Brit Hotel Calais

Ok, shower tray grubby and needs bleach on silicone

We needed a quick stop off on the way to Le Mans after we were delayed getting into France. We booked this before boarding and were greeted at the hotel by a very friendly receptionist. Parking is readily available just down the street and is cheap for an overnight stay. The room is basic but very clean we didn’t have breakfast as we checked out at 4.30am to arrive in Le Mans in good time to meet our family.

We found one of our two rooms had bed bugs in the bed and didn’t realise until the morning. The person sleeping in the bed was badly bitten. Hotel weren’t willing to do anything.

The price and breakfast were good value but the staff werent too friendly

This is in a great location for exploring Calais. There is a mall across the street if you like shopping. Nice eating place inside the mall. Close to a park and walking distances to some old buildings and architecture.

This is the second time we have stayed at Brithotel, Calais. We were given room 103. Unfortunately, the rear of the bathroom door had some sort of deposit on it that should have been washed off. There was no shelf or soap dish in the shower.I realise Brithotel is a budget Hotel, but refreshments should be provided in the bedrooms.

Room was very noisy as fronted onto Main Street. Was difficult to get to sleep.

The staff was so very helpful. This only made the stay a better 1. Great location, secure parking, almost opposite hotel

Greeted by a very nice and efficient male member of staff, I didn’t get his name. If you want parking, you have to find a space in the street. We just fell lucky but this could be a problem. Bedroom very large, big bed, tea and coffe in the room, no milk. Bed comfortable. Bathroom very small, more importantly there is no storage I.e. shelves to put your stuff on. No restaurant, but we were given a recommendation by the member if staff and it was not far away (walking 5 minutes). Traditional tasty French food and reasonably priced.
