Desayuno excelente, camas muy cómodas, vista preciosa y habitaciones limpias.

Se fue el agua por varias horas y no podíamos bañarnos para salir, tuvimos que ir varias veces a recepción porque nos prometían 30 minutos para restaurar lo del agua y no lo cumplieron en dos ocasiones. Había un animal en el cielo raso de la habitación lo cual nos asusto mucho ya que sonaba fuerte y aflojo varios bombillos de nuestra villa. Nos sacaron de la piscina antes de la hora estipulada en recepción porque tenían un evento, lo cual no era asunto nuestro.

Ive stayed here twice before when it was the best western, i wish it had stayed the best western. The people working reception must’ve been homeless before hand or never worked in hospitality before, any questions i had was met with, all i can describe as an oblivious pura vida vibe without any actual concern for whats going on in their hotel. If i had a question about anything I would go to the front desk and get a look like as if i was asking a random person on the street.. My first room had an enormous Iguana living in the ceiling and was relentlessly trying to escape through the recess lights. When i confronted the front desk they did not care at all and actually laughed and said, well they’re harmless…. Yeah they are but i dont need one crawling around my room as i sleep, especially 2ft long.! So after 2 days of living with that i did get a new room. Could not sleep on the weekend days because theres a huge party at night with multiple dj’s until 2:30 am. The people who bought this hotel after the best western must’ve have been club promoters or something, they definitely care more about getting people off the street to come party than their actual patrons of the hotel. All in all, the staff was really nice but you will get a nice staff anywhere in costa rica especially tamarindo. The people are really genuine, friendly, and gracious, with a certain kind of enthusiasm to share their culture and what their hometown has to offer. Long story short, if want to sleep next to studio 54 and party like your 22 stay here. If you want a relaxing weekend dont stay here because i think its ran by people who want to be pit bull or something. Thats my rant at 11:30 pm while currently the loudest club music plays relentlessly through my walls and drunk people are screaming outside my door. This is a self described “party hotel” by the receptionist. So if that what you’re looking for, this is your spot. If not, explore different options.. was not warned about this until i paid and checked in…

I liked that it was a little off the beaten track. We had a great view of Tamarindo bay but didn't have to deal with all the tourist noise and overcrowding. The price was great for the area of Tamarindo, thank you Booking.com, and the young lady at the registration desk was amazingly cordial and gracious in trying to accommodate us all. The pool and swim up bar were great, and so was the food. Will absolutely book this place my next time in Tamarindo.

Nothing really, the place was perfect.

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Justin and Mark. Justin from reception was super helpful when there was an issue with the lock on our room door not working and dealt with the problem quickly. The room we had with balcony was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. There is plenty of parking space. The location was was good and only a short walk to the beach or into town. At checkin we were informed that Friday night is party night until 2am. It was very loud and clearly not aimed at our age group, but luckily we had ear plugs. If we were to return we would avoid Fridays.

The room was claustrophobic, it was so tiny. The shower made a high-pitched squealing noise and the tap in the bathroom sprayed everywhere. There were bugs creating in the bathroom. The party that was going on in the hotel was so f****** loud I could not sleep and its not supposed to end until 11:00 p.m. still here and it's awful.

The breakfast area around the pool is very nice and service was good. The location is okay.

The bed was tight against the wall and the room was very small. There are a lot of steps to get to the rooms and the tile used gets very slippery. The outlwts in the room were located in odd places, like 6 feet up on a wall and in the floor. The TV was near the ceiling and there was no lock on the balconey door, just a chain. The reception area is in the parking lot and not easy to access. We received differing advise on getting around town. One told us that Uber is easy to use and the other told us that Uber is not in Tamarindo! Uber is easy to use in Tamarindo. The receptionist should know that!

The worst experience ever. Music untill midnight. Impossible to sleep. The same food every day. Difficult access to parking space.
