Hyatt Place Dallas/North Arlington/Grand Prairie

It's located conveniently next to the highway. The entrance is hidden behind a gas station. The room is clean but dated.

Nothing because they sold my room to someone else.

Hotel overbooked me even after they confirmed my reservation via phone call. I did not have a place to spend the night and had to paid over $200 on uber to go for nothing.

I come to Texas every couple of weeks or at least monthly. I stay at Hyatt properties. This particular property is not up to par. 3 things, first room not cleaned even after I asked for a daily cleaning. Tonight at 7:30 pm I came in and was told the bar is closed and there is no food. When I go to my room it is not cleaned and replenished. My next move is to go down and get coffee for in the morning. The person running the desk let me know that they don’t have regular coffee only decaf. Apparently under new ownership. I would say not for long as people just won’t come back. Not good. Second time staying here. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for anything you want to do in the Arlington area. Hotel is quiet and clean.

It was a place to sleep. Staff was quick to fix the phone that didn’t work in the room. Staff was friendly.

Front desk person was on phone when I arrived to check in. I had to say hi to her for her to realize someone was standing there. The battery in the smoke detector was bad which made the smoke detector beep beep beep so my husband got a battery from the front desk to replace it. The sink and mirror is not convenient and light over sink disturbs the person still in bed before there is no wall or door to separate. The bathroom has no ventilation fan and no mirror or trash can in the bathroom.
