My room

Access was limited after a certain time. I qas left outside for about 10 mins. There was no reception staff to let me in

Nice location above the beach

It’s very old and charming , but on a hot day without air conditioning it is hard to enjoy your stay.

Been to this hotel few times,but this time didnt have good experience in our room 106,first our room wasnt cleaned properly,only had 2 bath towels no bath mat when you got out of shower,very hot in that roon when sun shines right through it,had 1,packet of biscuits when there are 2 of us,top all that we only had 1 packet of milk,my husband went down recepition and she said they didnt have any,next day he,went down and a man on recepition gave us some,strange that! Breakfast could be up dated with more fresh fruit like peaches,there was a small pot of fresh yougurt,maybe a collection of juice like cranberry,Hotel needs a fresh up,its a shame as we like going there but they need more touches,Staff are lovely and friendly and helpful,even breakfast staff,we hope to come back in aug but not room 106, Thanks to all staff

The person on the check in desk was very welcoming , polite and happy. I had just finished work so it was great to be greeted by such a lovely person.

The rooms decor is very dated, the bed wasn’t that comfortable so I was extremely tired for work the next day.

The staff are all lovely and the location is a 15 min walk, however to reach the waterfront and beach you have to walk down steps or slopes. There is also a bus (99) that runs every half hour from one end to the other of the resort.

There were very limited options at breakfast if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. On the 2nd morning, there was nothing other than cereal or cooked breakfast as they were waiting for a food delivery. I never understand why hotels run out of food and ice when it is clear how many guests are booked in (we were aslo told we couldn't have any ice for our room on Sat eve as they had a private party on and it was being kept for them only!) It was 34 degrees over the bank holiday weekend, I'm sorry but this is not acceptable. On a positive, I took unwell with a gastric issue Sunday eve and they happily provided me with some milk to help. The management are lovely, as was the young girl at breakfast who filled my water bottle. You have to pay for parking daily via ringo it's just under £8.50 a day. Parking is free from 9pm to 11am the code for ringo is displayed in Reception (currently 602088) We would stay again, but on room only basis.

Considering they knew room was booked out and the extreme heat windows shut no air con fan they provided blowing warm air staff quarters above our room think they forgot they had guests below them lady serving breakfast was very helpful and polite sat outside with a drink clearly no maintenance or cleaning outside
