Hotel St Moritz, Queenstown - MGallery Collection

The St Moritz suites had a great kitchen, amazing views of the lake and comfortable beds. I love a hotel that provides slippers and robes which St Moritz does. The morning breakfast was full on buffet.

I stayed at the St Moritz in February 2026. When I experienced a problem ( nothing to do with the hotel) the staff were empathtic and went above and beyond what I would have expected in order to help me. Particular thanks go to Claire Simpson and Rockey Dutta. Exceptional service delivered with kindness and professionalism.

Nice and easy walk into the main area of Queenstown.

Hotel check-in was disrupted by them not having my room ready in time. They moved me to a different room and this room was in a bad location looking out to the driveway of the hotel. Then at breakfast they thought I was an outsider stealing breakfast because of the room change they did caused internal confusion.

The location is great and parking is convenient with good value.

During breakfast on March 1, there was a male staff member at the restaurant reception who did not assist us in finding a seat. When I found a suitable table and was waiting for it to be cleaned, he came over and said, “I need this table for another group. You can take the seat by the wall.” Before I even had a chance to respond, he immediately brought another group to the table where I had been waiting. I found his behavior quite rude and felt offended by the way we were treated. We paid the same price as other guests but did not receive the same level of service. Instead, we were asked to give up the table we had already been waiting for, which felt very unfair. Fortunately, Eva noticed how awkward it was for us to be standing there without any assistance. She kindly approached us and asked whether we would like to take the table beside us. We truly appreciated her help and professionalism.

A beautiful hotel with old school charm and alpine architecture designs. Located perfectly near town, overlooking the lake with breathtaking views. Service was absolutely superb.

New construction occurring right next door, quite loud and disruptive. But totally understandable and not the fault of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Walking distance to centre. Room was better than expected.

Better soundproofing would be great.

We had a King Room that was quite large but there was no view. Walking distance to restaurants etc.

Didn’t know we needed to buy a parking pass (which was full) so we had to park a few blocks away.
