L’emplacement central, la superficie de la chambre, l’accueil, le restaurant avec sa vue incroyable et le personnel a l’écoute des besoins, et toujours très gentils. On y mange très bien en plus ! Un parking sous l’établissement est disponible, des places à l’extérieur dans la rue gratuites sont également une option.

Notre chambre bien que très confortable et propre, donnait sur des fenêtres proches, sans vue. Chambre très sombre.

The hotel is comfortable and beautifully designed in a charming Alpine style. If you were lucky enough to have a lake view then you might overlook the hotel’s shortcomings, if you don’t you will be disappointed. Rooms are spacious but there were no USB charging ports and no air-con. The hotel suffers with a large turnover of staff resulting in poor service and more training is needed to reflect luxury hospitality and a can do attitude. Housekeeping was another area that showed training and strong management were missing. Rooms were clean but the one afternoon I had set aside to use the hot tub it wasn’t on. The laundry room had two of the three machines out of order and nothing had been cleaned for a while so soap trays were mouldy and unhygienic. The Location over looking the lake was great but the walk up and down the steep hill from the main road was not easy. The seven steps leading down to reception without a concierge or doorman was also not expected. The front of house for breakfast also the barista was stressed and rude, she needs a lot more training to reflect 4/5* hospitality. The one saving grace was the bar and Michelle, who has a natural aptitude for hospitality, and Conor a skilled barman were exceptional. I have tried very hard to love this hotel but it suffers from a lack of ‘can do’ leadership and a proper protocol for dealing with guests when things go wrong. There is a systemic problem at this hotel which in my opinion needs a good shake up.

Luxury hotel with attention to detail. Our king room was very large and comfortable. Everything well maintained. We did not upgrade to view but we got the full view from the lounge/restaurant. The hotel overlooks the lake but is 10 minute walk from town center so it’s just a bit quieter and less congested. It is also set up a hill so the view is not obstructed by other hotels or roads. This is a top quality hotel in staffing and appearance.

After many stays we had a very poor room as to outlook. The bed needs replacing and leak on the bathroom floor left unattended on arrival. Not what we normally experience.
