The hotel is a building site and shouldn't be open to the public

It is having a complete renovation and everything is closed with dust everywhere

"Handy pad for an overnight stay"

Good location with station, city centre and castle all in walking distance. Quiet and clean room with all I needed for a weekend stay.

Unfortunately, due to refurbishment taking place in the dining area, there was no breakfast on site, but there were options nearby.

The location could not be better.

The bar and restaurant were closed for renovation purposes, and the works being carried out were rather noisy. The shower would not work, and no maintenance person on duty to repair it. The front of house staff did refund us for this though.

Their restaurant was under construction which means that breakfast was not possible. We were displeased by the fact that they did not inform us of this up front. People choose to have breakfast at their hotel for practical reasons and so changing plans last minute was a bit of an inconvenience.
