Stunning hacienda, beautiful grounds, huge rooms with great amenities but the staff team really make the experience perfect. Incredible service, friendly staff. There is so much to do at hacienda - bird watching, cenotes, walking trails, enormous pool, spa and relaxation. Highly recommend for peaceful nights and relaxing days. We visited on the tail end of our Merida trip.

The place has seen better days and it does not deserve the price they are asking. Rooms are spacious but seems not to have been touched since 2007. Pool chairs are falling apart and restaurant offering hasn’t seen much innovation since 2007. Overall they are asking 5 star prices for a 3 star experience.

Excellent staff and service. Food was very good. Very accommodating and helpful with all our requests. Be sure and get a guided tour of the hacienda.

It’s a good launching pad for Xumal. The remote location is both an asset and a liability. The spa and pool were awesome

Stunning hacienda about an hour south of merida. Room are very nice. Service is 1st class from staff. The only thing I would suggest. I stayed the previous night at the other ihg property hacienda santa rosa. The menus at the on site restaurant seem to be the same. Some variety would be nice if someone was staying for an extended amount of time. Either way the food was pretty good.
