Windsor Arms Hotel

The physical property is fine - BUT the service is very mixed. Ask for them to order a taxi from my room and they did not do it until I came to the lobby - wait meant i nearly missed plane. Breakfast menu was horrible - too complex. no fruit. Delivery of hair dryer and dinner to room were problematic - not owrthy of very high price.

Will stay here again next time I’m in town

Old English extravagance

Such a beautiful place to stay. Our room was clean and lovely. I loved the harp in our room and the complimentary champagne. The pool and sauna were gorgeous and empty when we went, which was amazing! Highly recommend.

Great visit! The rooms are well appointed, an interesting mix of the heritage of the original building & modern amenities. Peter, the valet, knows all of the history, and Noah was at the front desk, and very friendly. At the restaurant, Gatsby’s, the Friday night Jazz band was amazing and even stayed for a hour longer than they were supposed to. “Lady J”, the bartender, takes pride in her work, and is a pleasure. We’ll be back, that’s for sure!

Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed out. The attention to detail was incredible.

First off, lobby staff is five star, the hotel has tremendous curb appeal, lobby has lovely historic vibe, fantastic location but the rooms are absolutely not five star. Rooms are maybe three stars at best. Tired, dingy, stained carpets, bathrooms that look like they were last renovated in the 80’s (see pic of tun and TV above it!). Sofa in suite is terribly worn and dirty. Flood lights from building next door are so bright they filter through the dated drapes. Carpets are so dirty I wouldn’t walk barefoot on them - and they don’t provide slippers. Or drinking water in room.! Weird, empty dorm frig just plugged into wall. Filthy monitors or something plugged in each room (see pic). Place has a musty smell. I looked online and read that this hotel was last renovated in 2017 but no way they did the guest rooms that recently. Hotel has amazing potential, and would be workable as a three star, but absolutely not a five star. If that’s what you’re looking for you’ll be terribly disappointed with the room.

I recently had a reservation concern that was masterfully handled by the staff at the Windsor Arms Hotel. With much gratitude, I especially appreciate how skillfully the manager, Jacob, resolved my query. Jacob was very patient, incredibly kind and highly professional. The politeness of all the staff with whom I spoke, and Jacob’s attentive leadership, exemplifies best practices in quality customer service. Thank you very much for resolving my concern in such a professional, courteous and timely manner. I wish all the staff at the beautiful Windsor Arms Hotel a very happy and safe Holiday Season.
