Honest Granada Hotel

The location was excellent as was the price. But you get what you pay for. The room was tiny, no where to sit but the bed. The bed was a full size with a hard foam single layer mattress. Furniture has seen better days. There is a little balcony off most rooms. The bathroom was also very small but it was updated. Toiletries were packets of shampoo and tiny soap bars. It felt more like a pensione than a hotel. Staff ok, some spoke better English than others. On Expedia' s star system, this hotel is a two star. It had gotten some excellent on-line reviews so we were shocked when we checked in.

I stayed for 5 days over Holy Week, 20th march - 25th march. The hotel is on a large pedestrian only street, about 5-10 mins walk from the Cathedral. My room was on at the back of the hotel and did not get much daylight as the window faced a wall. However the bed was really comfy and the air conditioning could be switched to heating, which I did and warmed up quite quickly, there was also an extra blanket in the room. Although breakfast is not provided, the hotel has a cafe/bar off the reception where you can get fresh orange juice and a few other items. There isn't a safe in the room. During Holy Week there are parades every day. They started at 4pm and went on until 1am. The street outside the front of the hotel is part of the route parades take to the Cathedral. Because the parades include marching bands, it can be a little noisy if going to bed early. I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay again.

Stay was good. Staff helpful. Hotel comfortable. WiFi was not worth using. Drops out about every 10-15 sec so if you want to work this is not your place.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and were pleasantly greeted by the staff who were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel was situated near the center of town which suited us extremely well. We were well situated for the shops and restaurants and local buses. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Granada.

The lady at the front desk was so helpful and remembered everything about us. This made our time there more special. We felt very much like we were very important guests. The hotel is small, in the cen tre of everything and a good place to be. We would go back there the next time we return to Granada

The hotel is located near city centre along the tour train route. The room is a bit small and not very quiet. Plus the bed is a little too soft for my back but hey, for this price and it is clean, so it is acceptable. The staff is friendly and helpful. If I have a chance to visit Granada I will stay there unless I decide to go for a more pricy one.

The room was not clean. We found multiple hairs on the sheets and bathroom floors upon checking in. There was no cleaning staff at that point (evening) so we had to change the sheets ourselves. On the weekend there is considerable noise from the street during late evening and early morning. It is loud enough to make it difficult to sleep.

Nice hotel, well situated. Parking easy with the hotel, kind and helpful staff. The only problem is the noise at night.
