Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Memphis East Galleria

Clean good location good staff. Bad breakfast

Toilet seat was loose, We replaced & fixed the plug in the tub, paint in room was chipped & the curtain liners were last cleaned in the 80’s. Breakfast was limited selection but adequate.

The breakfast is always good at Fairfield. The beds were clean and comfortable.

We called the hotel at least 8 times and no one answered. I paid Booking.com in advance. The receptionist told me my credit card was declined. She doubted that I had already paid and told me to call Booking.com. The en suddenly she said it was okay??? Our room had a musty smell. Then later we realized the carpets were really wet in certain areas. The pool is in total disrepair!! Jacuzzi was roped off with crime scene tape. Same with one ladder out of the pool. Holes in the walls around jacuzzi. Tile around pool was filthy. I was afraid to go in! This Fairfield was a disaster! Very disappointing!

Hotel was under remodel a lot of construction areas/ large dumpsters in the parking lot. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. The bathroom light in our first room wasn’t working they were quick to move us into a better room.

Good location. Room was recently updated - new carpet in room and lobby. Renovation still underway which is apparent in and around property.

Great place to stay

Needs to fix indoor pool. They advertise indoor pool but they had damage areas areas around the pool which was unsafe. Carpet is old. Elevato needs new carpet old and tattered.

The TV remote was dead and wouldn’t turn on the TV so I tried for over and hour to contact the front desk using the room phone which was unplugged and calling the number direct on my private phone - it just rang and rang no answer I am handicapped and requested a handicapped this was not it unfortunately. There are better hotels in the area I should have spent the $20 more..

Front desk was rude. I would ask something and he would tell what! The elevator smelled horrible the carpet was torn and dirty. The room the bathroom door didn’t close, noisy. Pool had a funky film over it and hot tub was not working and it was dirty…
