Stapleford Park Country House Hotel and Sporting Estate

It had been refurnished to a very high level. Our room was exceptionally comfortable.

Lovely welcoming stay. Great location with plenty of space to relax in.

Overall the stay was excellent, staff very attentive, building and grounds well kept. Looking forward to going back.

Very relaxing trip to Southwell. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Lots of stuff to do in comfortable surroundings. Particularly loved the pool.

Beautiful old Hotel. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute. We wanted a quite and good quality break away and it was great. Food was very good. Very friendly

Great stay but spoily on checkout as paid for two nights half board but hotel said it was room only and insisted on payment for one nights dinners...to be fair suspect arises because the expedia confirmation states half board as an 'amenity available' and room only is the headline. Another lady had exactly the same problem.

The surrounding area was beautiful. The hotel is looking very tired however. Our room had no heating and we were moved to the old part of the hotel as there was a wedding on and the Hotel was fully booked. Although the room was 'dated elegance' the room was dark and the shower room antiquated. I strongly believe that the service was not up to there usual standard, possibly due to the wedding. The over night stay was booked for my husband's birthday. We will not be back to stay again, very disappointed.
