The hotel location is amazing at a walking distance to the centre and Getsemani neighborhood, the staff are very helpful.

This hotel is soooo well located!!! A few minutes from Old town and a block away from Getsemaní. This hotel is super nice!

Nothing to do with the Hotel but be aware in Old town. I for my necklaces ripped of from my neck… We felt more nervous and less in security. We are a couple that love walking and we felt less at ease to do it and often the only tourist walking around… As for the hotel nothing to say that we didn’t like. After the robbery we came back to our hotel and played chess. We wish the rooftop stayed open later and to bring the chessboard to our room.

Rooms are very spacious and the building it’s super unique

Location is honestly one of the best possible in Cartagena. From the rooftop terrace in the morning, you can watch the morning sun illuminate the clock tower across the plaza, which gave me my best picture of the trip. Everything in the historic city (and the San Felipe Castle) are 15 minutes by foot or less. Breakfast is in the courtyard which is very nice in the morning. The large fans appeared to keep away any insects without drowning out the early morning birdsong. The fruit is fresh every day and alternates, probably based on what is locally available. The staff tried to teach me the Spanish names of the more exotic fruit, and as nice as they are, language learning appears to not be one of my strong points.

The room facilities are rather spartan. It does have everything you need to be comfortable, but this is a hotel that you sleep in, rather than spend the day in. If you are expecting a 5-star resort with a gym, multiple restaurants, and private jacuzzis in every room, this is not your hotel.

It was a beautiful hote. Staff were amazing. Perfect location. I would definetily recommend this hotel and i would return there.
