no heater, quite cold inside the room.

Free shuttle to the Canton Fair. Good buffet restaurant with Western and Chinese dishes. Rooms spacious, carpet and bathroom old and grotty. Beds hard. Staff charming and very helpful, many were working just for the duration of the fair.

Great location next to subway, Walmart and others. Friendly staff with great help. Nice clean and cozy room with locked fridge with a tiny uneasy. Breakie should be improved much. Overall is great stay. Thanks

Iwe preserved 2 rooms in this hotel. We found insects or roach in room319. The piping had hampering noise in the night time. The hot water didn't warm in my room(1314) and the shower head was sprout the water when I used it so the water split to my hair.

Everything about the hotel was great, the location, the restaurants, amenities, easy access to train station.i mean everything.

The hotel is a stone throw away from Changang metro station line 2..there are many restaurants like Hunan..Guangdong cuisine..also Mcdonald and massage center..all these are situated in the hotel vicinity..the hotel service is superb although the hotel and rooms are abit rundown..will stay there if i return to Guangzhou..

The location of the hotel is good (in fact its very good as it is above the subway at exit C2). However, this is a 20 years old hotel. The rooms are standard type of china type of hotel room. Capet floor with bed and table and bathroom with tub. Nothing fanciful but rather dated. Stayed in the Executive floor but upgraded to Club floor by paying extra 70 RMB per day. However, don't bother to upgrade to Club floor as the only thing you get is a sofa seat and a writing table. The worst thing is there is no plugs on the table. Had to request for a power bar extension for it. Just stick to the normal executive floor room type will do. Rather dated type of hotel.

Would prefer the corridors to be bright. Too dim passage.

When we first checked in I thought, oh no, our rooms smells like mold - not a pleasant smell at all. I'm happy to say that this smell disappeared after about 2 hours and I think was due to the over zealous housekeeping staff, who presume that we westerners need to be cold. Every day after housekeeping had left we had to turn our air conditioning up from 15 degrees celsius they had left it at up to a comfortable 20 degrees just so we didn't need to put on warmer clothing each time we entered the room. The hotel is older (I'd say built in the 1960s or 70s and so the decor is a bit tired, but even so the room and everything in it was scrupulously clean and stayed that way over our entire visit. The massive factor however in this hotel's favor is that it is about 50 metres from the metro subway station and that subway station is an interchange for 2 lines. One line took us directly to the Canton Gift Fair (only about 6 stops so about 15 minutes travel) and the other took us up to the wholesale markets, tourist sights etc. Overall it was the perfect place to stay.

The rooms are old, dirty, smell terrible, old and dark bathroom. The breakfast was good but no place to seat.
