The buffet very bad no meet

The property looks very nice and has lots to do but lacks in customer service — especially at the front desk. I booked 2 rooms and the AC in one room was not working. It took 2 hours to be able to change rooms. The first key to the new room did not work and my son and I had to stand outside for 10+ min at 1am waiting for them to come with a new key. The next day we went to get the other key card/wrist things and I was informed that I was under charged by $8 which later became $16. I said that it should be a wash considering I had to change rooms in the middle of the night but apparently that is not their concern. I was then sent to customer service who could not help. And apparently there was only one person who could help and he/she was not available when it was convenient for me. The main buffet restaurant has a good selection but getting drinks and silverware are a struggle. At check out is where the $8 turned into $16. Again I attempted to explain our situation and how we feel like it should be a wash. I did not ask for a comp or anything for the room issues. Additionally the online booking service for the spa and restaurants would not let me log in. Even with help from customer service. Also was not explained that to book a reservation for multiple rooms, you had to book through guest services only causing us to miss opportunities during our stay. Extended checkouts can only be requested day of check out after 10am.

The rooms were our biggest issue. Ac wasnt working for one of the rooms and trying to get a new room should have been easier and the new room wasnt that much better. Not having an ac or a well functioning ac is a huge issue when you are somewhere hot. Room towels were always missing and bedding was not the cleaniest. Also the check in process took over an hour. Buffet was average. Common facilites were great and pool was amazing. Staff were also great. The only thing about common areas was that people would leave towels to hold chairs but they wpuldnt arrive until much later in the day. Which is not really fair to guests who are their earlier and using the facilities.

Our party had a total of 9 rooms and not one was properly cleaned. A few of them even had fecal matter stains in AND out of the toilet. The sheets were dirty and when asked for a new set we were told 3 times they were “almost there”. They never arrived. The staff asked me if my “financial situation was good” so they could do their job of getting my bags from the room in a golf kart.

Bad room service , food disgusting and room not clean we had to change it , big roaches in the new room we got and they refuse to refund

The Room service was awful. My phone in my room didn’t work my entire stay and nobody did anything about fixing it after multiple complaints. Thank god my family also came and was able to call for any request for my room with my children and wife. After calling multiple times to order room service because my kids got sick, I went down to the buffet to bring food to my room for my children due to nobody helping serve me / them being sick and a huge deal was made about “glass plates” ((That they use for room service)) being taken to my room. They wouldn’t allow me to bring anything to my room and wouldn’t do anything about room service being sent to my room. MIND YOU I booked the Luxury privilege suite with everything included.. total waste of money & time. They wouldn’t even clean my room after multiple requests were made… I give credit when it’s due !!! most of the staff were very polite, tried their best to help and 1 staff even snuck food out of the buffet so that my children can eat because all mangers were no help. If you plan on going to this resort, don’t get me wrong it is beautiful - there are a lot of great excursions and the food wasn’t bad. Thank you “JESUS” (Ayami Japanese cuisine) very respectful and helpful young man. Also thank you to “Josemiguel” very respectful and helpful man!! “GLENDY” was also amazing, she helped book all of our excursions and was very understanding / helpful in every way possible. Overall, I will not stay here again..
