Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel

Excellent no more or less to say. arrived late at evening and registration friendly, all services exceptional location 5min. from old town.

Although most staff was friendly, we encountered three who certainly were not. We've given written feedback to the hotel, but never received an answer. The manager simply doesn't care. I recommend the Old Town Riga instead. Stay away from Ridzene unless you get a really good price (under 100 e with breakfast).

We stayed at the hotel as a couple. The location is amazing and very close to all transportation points. It offers great value for money. The staff quality is outstanding; special thanks to General Manager Mr. Ömer Özcan for his attention and hospitality. Radisson will definitely be our choice again on our next visit. Truly a five-star experience!

The hotel is located in the middle of two of the city parks so expect a lot of green areas around. It’s quiet at night and a relaxing walking to the city center during the day. The breakfast was very good and great room sizes. Eliza in the reception and Antons in the restaurant area were very attentive and helpful at any time. We definitely would stay there again!

The reception team was welcoming, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. The bar staff were just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and great at recommending (and making) fantastic drinks. Both teams made me feel truly valued and turned my visit into a memorable experience.

Fine hotel, excellent staff, perfect location.

Surprised at how bad the level of service was for a Radisson hotel. I stayed with a friend with a booking under his name. He is a regular member and often gets automatically updated to premium. During the stay where we actually did not get the uograde, we saw many adds everywhere that there is a bar and it has a happy hour between 5 and 7 p.m. We went there on Friday (you would think Friday would be a good day to go to the bar) at about 6.45 p.m. The bar was not attended and there were about 10 people sitting in the area drinking. We talk to the reception and were asked to wait. 15mn later nobody is there. We talk to the reception again and wait some more. At this point we lost the happy hour deal bcus someone decided not to do their job but we think we will order some drinks anyway even without the happy hour offer. A staff member finally shows up and says "actually there is no bar today". Obviously our first reaction was: but we can see people around us drinking and he continues "yeah but there is no bar and we are closing". Mind you there is no announcement or anything that it is. The bartender was so rude and unfriendly it was too strange to get so much attitude from someone you never met before. At this point we just left bcus we could not understand how come the service is so bad that staffers refuse to serve us drinks we were going to PAY for??? During the breakfast, we notice people having omelettes so we approach the waiters and ask if can we also order an omelette and his response was "oh we will try". Again, we were just speechless and did not even know how to react. We said again that we would like an omelette and they said they will try their best. 30 minutes later nothing still, we see another waiter so we ask him and say "we ordered an omelette 30 mn ago but we can not see your friend anymore, is it coming?" He looks at us and says "oh it's definitely not coming then" and just goes away and caries on with his life. Nowhere, and I truly mean this, nowhere, have I seen service this bad. Inefficient, unfriendly and rude! Out of respect for my friend being a regular, who was also very unhappy with this, I finished my stay and paid. But even with him addressing this issue at the reception, they just asked him to write an email to "complain" as if we are being difficult and they did not even apologise. I think the service here is so bad they should rename the hotel as not to taint the reputation Radisson built bcus I can't see how we can visit another Radisson hotel now anywhere if it can be like this again.

Quite small for 3 people as booked

I know this hotel for years and is one of my favorites in Riga. it is located near by old town and next to nice park.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Riga (one night in a regular room and the last two nights in a premium room). The regular room was quite small with only space for one of our two suitcases to be opened. However, it did have a large bathroom with a shower/tub. After the first night, the front desk helped us get moved one room over to a premium room that was over twice the size and had a much larger bed, a living area with sofa & chairs along with two separate toilets! The lobby bar has a daily happy hour between 5-7 pm (2 for 1 beers, wines and cocktails) that was a good value and had a great bartender. We ate breakfast each morning in their restaurant which had a good selection of hot dishes, breads, fruit, cereal and yogurt. The only thing that I wished for was oatmeal. Every hotel employee that we interacted with (front desk, bar, & restaurant) provided excellent service.
