Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel

Staff very kind

I like this hotel , stayed here for last 4 years . Roughly 20 times so far . I can see natural wear and tear in Roots and at the property. It is clean and staff is very accommodating, this review is more of a shoutout to the owners and management “ don’t let things get away from you! There are multiple things at the property that need updating and upgrading . Like shower hose and dusty dated curtains, some furniture items and bedding! Small investment here and there will keep loyal customers like me coming back.

Hotel is located super well (from airport 20-30min), close to many walking distance attractions and restaurants. Nice area. High quality sheets, nice duvet. Clean. Good breakfast (inc fresh fruits, cold/warm dishes, salads, healthy choices, pastry, no smoothie or fresh juice). Wifi worked well, sauna 5ht floor nice view. Hotel is little dated and temp is cold everywhere, bathroom (superior room) had no radiator or floor heating. There was shower and bath, good amenities (slippers, bathrobe, shampoo, conditioner, comb, dental kit, lotion, bath salt). Soap container was empty. Towels nice and white but rough - plse soft towels:) Being reward member but in some reason was not put Rewards floor. I saw this later when going to sauna 5ht floor. Check in young girl didn't mention either. Website is saying they have steam room- but not, only sauna. One site also had wrong email- i hope they fix this, when I got correct one sent email twice - no reply. Young girl at check-in didn't know much and could be trained better. Manager or someone she went to consult offered me (for inconveniences) late check out free of charge- which was super nice and well needed as we had evening flight. Later staff was very professional and polite- thnx guys. Breakfast room -Pyramide is very nice, only super cold. Could feel the wind, luckily there were few tables inside and warmer. I stayed superior room park view, (it was 3rd fl) paid extra for that only it was rather noisy (loud music from ice skating rank), 22:30 quieted down. But room is spacious and had all that needed. Same category they have nicer ones also, big window and different layout. It was 1 night so I left it as it was. Although noted to have high floor and quiet. Expected little more care as member and as hotel was not busy could be nice to follow clients room wishes. I think if professional staff would have done check- in things would have been better. It really matters who is working there and how knowledgeable and oriented to service. So the experience can be different. In overall its nice and comfortable. I advise to do something abt the heating, though. Thank you and hopefully matters improve.

We are just back from a 3 night stay in Riga to celebrate the New Year. Riga is beautiful, it's a shame we can't say the same for this hotel. We knew it would be outdated but we didn’t expect it to be so unclean; 1. Bathroom covered in black mould. 2. Lights hanging off the walls. 3. Single duvet in a double duvet cover, on a double bed. 4. Dirty bed sheets. 5. Generally unclean room - dirty sink and classes in bathroom. 6. No hot water in the evening. I did not expect this for a radisson hotel, and actually wouldn't stay at another now. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!

Very good hotel. Bar closes at 10pm, which is disappointing. Sauna and gym works 24/7 which is great! Pillows are not comfortable and ohr room could use some maintenance. Otherwise great hotel with ideal location.

Location is amazing, 9’ minutes walking to town, sauna had a nice viewing to the park and is available 24/7 as much as you organise yourself to switch on 45’ in advance. The staff is ok, just not happy with the guy on my checkin as I had to beg for a heating, but the other staff were kind and trying to sort the problems . My main issues were room temperature is weak specially after 10pm it seems they switch off everything and internal control doesn’t seem to work. Also is impossible to have a shower after 10pm till earlier morning as there is not hot water. It seems a normal issue in the hotel as if you dig down in google other guests complained months ago and no action was taken. T

Very comfortable stay in the heart of Riga. Location was reason we chose to stay. Comfortable beds, nice staff, clean rooms - more suited to business travellers.

One poorly working(hot dark water not coffee) coffee machine in a large hotel. People were waiting in line ~10min. Breakfast without coffee. First time in 4 star hotel.

The suite is very spatious and comfortable, perfect for a family or 5 like ours, and the hotel perfectly located in the heart of riga. Very nice staff, great breakfast, too bad we couldn't try the spa/sauna, maybe next time!
