Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel

Good location next to old town, but the hotel is very old and requires renovation. There is a ot of flies in the room and the safe was not working, we asked for replacement but it was mot replaced

Hotel is in a good location to explore Riga. It is however very dated. Bedrooms, lobby area lay and the breakfast room look as if they haven’t been updated in a very long time. The breakfast buffet was average, both in terms of choice and quality. Staff weren’t particularly helpful or friendly- as there are lots of other hotels in Riga, I will not be back.

Great location close to everything in the city center. Convenient rooms. Breakfast was very good too. Friendly staff. What else one could expect!

Room was not cleaned propertly upon our arrival, things from other guests were on the minibar. During the week cleanning service was not good. Bathroom was not cleaned well and same with the room.

Stayed multiple times because the service is excellent! They are pet friendly and close to the city center.

Overall a good stay, except for a rude and unwelcoming check in experience. We arrived at the hotel just before midday having already pre-booked an early check 3 days prior, with an email confirmation, following an early morning flight. The receptionist, Anna, was rude and found it funny that there were no rooms available as the hotel was ‘fully booked’ the day prior. After a number of phone calls, and no communication to us, Anna then managed to find us a room. There was absolutely no information given to us regarding the hotel, breakfast etc, she just gave us the room key, by sliding this on the desk, with no words whatsoever. Not what you would expect from a receptionist, never mind at a Radisson Blu. Thankfully we didn’t have to speak with Anna again during our stay, and all of the other staff we came into contact with were beyond helpful. Despite the initial issue, I would recommend this hotel. The location is excellent and our room was spacious and clean.
