The Lakeview Hotel, Shanty Creek Resort

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.

Great view from the balcony, Friendly staff.

Stay was good. Layout of hotel somewhat inconvenient to get to rooms with luggage due to stairs in hallways (cart usage).

Bed is not comfortable

Close to several lakes. Beautiful and quiet property. Rooms are a bit dated but prices are reasonable to reflect this

The hotel room was very accommodating with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and balcony. The restaurant food was fair. The female clerk at the Legend’s Golf course was not friendly and very rude. We chose not to golf because of the way we were treated.

This hotel, is kind of dated, but clean. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The restaurant was really very good, and the staff was friendly.

It started off Rocky the first room we found a roach but the staff made up and changed my room with an upgrade...so the next time I visit I want that room.

It felt very homey

Overall a really cool spot. The hotel is immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. There is a lot to do outside of just golfing. My only complaint is that our hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. Every room has a balcony or patio. You could tell people were on the balconies smoking. Our room didn't smell or anything like that so a very minor issue.
