Simple, clean and in need a renovation. Friendly staff.

The staff was great, it was a little rundown and noisy. We had someone above us that was extremely noisy. The pool was a little bit cool, but other than that it was ok.

After I addressed the state of our current room the staff did let us change rooms eventually (although it took a bit of begging on my part as they were initially resistant).

Understand this is a budget hotel that is fine, however when it comes to health and safety, I will not hold back on the feedback. Our room was disgustingly wet and had a horrible mouldy smell. The carpets and couch were wet to the touch and the smell and air quality was terrible. We got in late so decided to risk staying the night which was a mistake. I woke up throughout the night coughing and with a sore throat due to the air quality. In the morning my husband and I had sore lungs and I was genuinely concerned about our health. in the morning when i picked up my shoes off the floor those were now covered in water as well- that’s how moist the environment was in that room and with no sunlight either made the problem so much worse.

Could have been cleaner but I notice everything.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was good! Everyone was so kind to our dog that we brought along too! Pool and hot tub were also nice and relaxing, even for an unusually cool day in August!
