Staybridge Suites Columbia by IHG

Was really nice had a suite close to the pool and hot tub staff was nice only complain was the $75 wr had to pay for pets that's alittle expensive

Hot tub was out of order and the door to the pool room was broken from the inside and jammed shut (staff made it sound like it’s been that way for a while. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great stay. Very clean. Room was huge. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Will stay again

I booked a suite for 6 people. We arrived and the lady at the desk was immediately rude. She kept asking questions about why I was in town. I told her that I was visiting my niece and having a birthday party and sleep over with her. She did not say there’s any issue with this. We got to our room and it had a foul odor. When friends arrived they stated that the front desk staff kept asking them if they were “going to a swim party, because those aren’t allowed”. Which was a bit random because there were just going up to our room. There was nothing posted about swimming or whether parties are allowed or banned on the website or on site. While I was up in our room my sister who was also a guest in the room went down to the pool area with her youngest daughter who is kindergarten and 2 other children to swim. They were immediately escorted out of the pool area and not allowed to swim. I requested a refund since we were not being allowed to use the facilities when we are paying a lot for the suite we are using. The manager on duty stated he could only give a refund if the room was the same as when we got there so they could “resell it”. So we took all our bags to the car and waited 30 minutes for them to inspect the room and tell us they would NOT give me a refund for the room. They continued to argue that I was having a pool party which is ridiculous because we were having a birthday party in our room. This was seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Evening gathering

Very much enjoy staying here when in town for sporting events at MIZZOU -- very clean, comfortable, and convenient. They have a great staff (always helpful) and lovely breakfast options. They are also a stop for the football shuttle on games days; its wonderful not to worry about parking or sitting in traffic. They pick you up at the driveway, drop you in front of the stadium, and pick you up at the same place after the game. Can't imagine going to a game any other way. Highly recommend this Staybridge.

We have stayed at the Staybridge in Columbia many times before and always have the same room, which we love as it is spacious and comfortable. This trip we were in a different room. This one was smaller, right by the elevator and above the lobby so it was loud, and the bed was not level where the top of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed, which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Unfortunately, this stay was not as good as our others have been.
