Dnipro hotel left a good vibes about itself. Perfect location in the heart of city center. Really friendly staff. The design is a bit Sovet but it’s has some historic side as for me. Recommend that’s hotel!

The staff were pleasant and professional. The indoor pool was very small and heated to 14C, the pool onsite was a huge selling point for selecting this hotel. This is the first hotel in Ukraine that did not provide slippers or bathrobes. The maids cleaned my room, took 2 used towels away but did not replace them or resupply soap or shampoo.

Location is good,but that is the only positive. Even though we had an economy room the decor was very old. Bed very soft and worn out. Hotel is very old and tired. Shower and bath very cracked and dirty. Basically we both felt the whole hotel was unloved and not cared for.

Soviet-era style hotel hence inexpensive and needs updating. Flowers bouquet in the room was a nice touch.

It was a large room, the hotel is centrally located, and checkin was quick. However the food was poor, staff very surly, TV didn't work, room service food was cold etc

I found this hotel to be a great bargain for the price. Pros: The staff were friendly and spoke English. I found security to be professional and polite. My towels and linens were changed daily and the complimentary soaps were always replenished. The room was clean and serviceable. The WiFi worked. It seemed quiet, though my room was facing away from the street. The hotel has an excellent little café attached to it. While the prices are a bit high for Kiev, it is still quite cheap by American standards. The staff there all speak English as well and are very polite and friendly (they kindly charged my phone for me while I enjoyed dinner). The food was quite good as well with a good selection of European and Ukrainian. Cons: The mattress is one of the worst I have ever slept on, worse than the ones I slept on with the Army in Iraq. This was mitigated somewhat by sleeping under only the comforter and letting the blankets and sheets absorb some of the hardness but still, my back hurt after a couple nights. The interior is quite dark. This wasn't so bad in the hallways with the rooms, but in the lobby it was perpetually dark and gloomy, which was a pity because it looks beautiful inside. Overall, it was a great bargain, although I am not sure that it is really a 4 star. The location is outstanding as well. I'd recommend it if you can deal with the stone mattress. Honestly, I would certainly stay again.
