Hotel Dnipro

My family- my sister and her 9 year old son stayed in hotel Dnipro three times and were always very happy with the rooms, breakfast buffet and how close it is to the center of the city.

The property has all the amenities with nice gym, small pool, a restaurant with view on top floor and then a very good one on lower level. The included breakfast is huge with traditional Ukrainian foods. Truly this was a great place to stay for the week.

The place of the hotel is very well. The room is clean but it would be better if there was no wornout carpets. The double bed was very narrow. It was not possible to use both sides of the bed.Also the shower area is very tight. The breakfast could be better. There are several buffets arround if you do not take the breakfast from hotel. Wifi was not strong in the room.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Downstairs looks like a palace. The room was comfortable, but it definitely could use some updating. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and you can’t beat the location! It’s right around the corner from Maidan Square, which is a great place to grab an ice cream and people watch. The restaurant is delicious as well.

Breakfast had a lot of choices and a piano player! How cool! Great location - walkable to Kreshchatyk street and independence square. Plenty of places to eat. Pool attendant did not want to allow us to use the pool in the evening. No idea why. The rest of the staff was nice, friendly and helpful.

We had a very nice room, the junior suite. It was very clean, air conditioner worked perfectly, much needed as it was very hot most of the time we spent in Ukraine. The staff was welcoming and very helpful in accommodating another person that stayed with us midway into the trip. They answered all questions and made sure we had everything necessary in the room. We enjoyed their breakfast layout and the location is perfect as it is in the middle of the city, close to shops and the subway. Overall a great experience

Pianist playing every morning at breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Things were attended to very quickly. Location fabulous. Furniture not my style but comfortable. Didn’t like the area of the pool

The location of the hotel was excellent. Close to the centre, beautiful parks and a Metro. Staff were all very well presented, they spoke a good level of English and were very helpful to print my boarding pass back to UK. I enjoyed the breakfast very, very much. It was a very pleasant environment, with subtle piano music in the background and a good choice of food, including Ukranian. The hotel had a small gym on the lower level which I used every day, whilst staying at the Dnipro hotel.

Oh, where to start. This property is very old school, Soviet style. The property is old, but it seemed clean and well maintained. Great value for a great location. But the TV's are still out of the 80's. I know I am not there for TV watching, but it's a nice touch to have it. There were few channels. The Munich Bar-closed down. The Panorama restaurant closed early, before posted hour of 2300 every night. The Public Café next door is quite good. The breakfast at the Dnipro is not so great, but hey they have piano playing at breakfast. At breakfast there is brewed coffee, and not instant which is good to see. Too bad when it's gone they just take it away, that's why you may not see it. Front desk people have good English, but they seemed overworked and stressed, never smiling. Some guests are checked in right away, others are told to wait until 1400 and not a minute before. I witnessed this-we're all not stupid. Guests should be treated the same way always. The room may be boiling hot when you arrive, since the AC is not left on for people checking in. Due to the location and it not being expensive, I stayed several days. This place should be better. Replace the TV's! This is a budget hotel and should be evaluated accordingly.

Had a very nice stay hotel was close to everything and was very central, only negative was traffic noise but that was because of the busy road so thats not the hotels fault, apart from that no complaints.
