Hotel Dnipro

Is a very good location, good price, clean.

Hotel is slightly refreshed from it’s original soviet state. Interiors still have retro-furniture. But everything is cleaned and well maintained. Room had big openable windows to let “kyivness” in and breathtaking views to Dnipro river. Daily room service offers free water and of course towels/toiletries. Mini-fridge was empty, but you can go to restaurant on the top floor or bars at the street level easily. It’s quite a nice place to start exploring Kyiv’s city center - pedestrian bridge across the street and lots of restaurants in walking distance on Khreshchatyk.

Hotel is very well located. It still has USSR spirit.

Bath Room plumping sistem did not work well. Room was very small size. View of room was awful. Only the lady in reception was very respectful.

Very little English spoken, Elevator broke= All second floor closed,= No Restaurant No men's club, Beds lay on floor, TV in Russian. Failed to tell about Tourist Tax in their AD. Had to take Janitor elevator to 12th floor. Money exchange window , girl was VERY RUDE, only Change money in$100's. Yelled at us for walking on wet entrance floor. Worst Hotel experience I ever had.

The room was a good size with execeptional views of the Dnipro river! The staff are great & it has a currency exchange in the reception area with the same rates as outside. The best thing about the hotel is the location, within walking distance from lots of bars, restaurants, Independacne square, river & the majority of great cathedrals/church's the city has to offer. All this and my room was only £90 for 3 nights, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Kyiv.

I keep coming to stay at hotel Dnipro. Very central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great price.. awesome Panorama restaurant on top! Great views and delicious food!! Will keep making them my choice #1 as far as hotel in Kyiv go!!

This is an older hotel built during the Soviet era, but it has a lot of charm and character and sense of history. The location is fantastic - it's near everything or close to it, and about the best you can get for a very modest price in this part of the city. I found the staff pleasant. But the breakfast buffet upstairs is the real gem. Very classy 4 star dining room, excellent food, and lots of variety. It was truly unexpected and incredible. This would be a perfect place to stay for someone not needing Hilton-like accommodations and service, but a clean and decent hotel at a very modest price that is located within walking distance of several major Kiev monuments and historical sites. A plethora of nice dining venues are steps away from the hotel. I felt quite safe around the hotel, more so than in my own city of Atlanta. It is located in a very clean and modern area of Kiev, and just down the street from the Hilton, so it's in a nice part of town.

The hotel has seen better days but over all it was clean, well equipped. Unfortunately resting in friday night proved to be very difficult for two reason. The room was overheated and stayed that way after shutting down the radiators - and leaving the windows open was not an option. Not only for the waste of energy but due to the friday night "disco" nearby which was too loud even with closed windows. Nice hotel for weekdays, I would avoid on the weekends.
