" Very central and convenient. A good hotel for a business visit."

6.0

The room was good size, bed ok, the hotel is located in the centre but I didn't use that as the low temperature and the dangerous iced walkways outdoors just made me stay inside. Nice restaurant (pubic cafe) open 24/7 with indoor access from hotel. Breakfast is not the best, reception lady on my arrival was doing something and just greeted me with "yes" without even looking at me, I found that disrespectful. Breakfast room cold, room cold.

"Central location, but not very impressive otherwise."

6.0

The hotel was easy to reach from the airport (about 30 min drive outside rush hours). When we arrived we feared that the dimly lit hotel was closed, however the sparse use of lamps was apparently a part of the “ambiance” of the Dnipro Hotel. The staff was helpful and we had no problems getting extra duvets and an electric radiator ( the room was only 19 degrees Celsius). The rooms was very 90’s like and clearly the hotel peaked 20 years ago. The junior “suite” spacious enough for three persons but only for sleeping. The room smelled like a room where smoking had been allowed in the past and could use a good renovation to get rid of the smell. We tried the massage at the hotel spa and found it pretty average, the pool (which was one of the criteria used when we chose the hotel) turned out to be only 10 degrees Celsius.....the wee one was not impressed and neither were we for that matter. The Sauna was not part of the price and you had to pay extra to use it. We did not try the Panorama Restaurant at the hotel as so many great (and much cheaper) restaurants are available within walking distance. The breakfast was served between 0700-1000 in the morning. It was not very impressive but all the basics were available. However, as there are so many high quality cafes and restaurants in the vicinity the intake of calories will be a greater experience elsewhere. The free internet was good and we were able to stream Netflix. Be aware that it is an open connection, so use a VPN to get at minimum of security. All in all, a great location, pleasant and effective staff, an ok room but overall a hotel that we are unlikely to use again because of the low standard and because it was a hotel that did not live up to what was promised.

"Cheap, Convenient, but needs a little updating"

6.0

I understand I may not have all modern amenities, however, my TV was an old tube TV where half the screen was purple. There were some lights burned out and some thing in the bathroom that weren’t working properly. Oh...but you can always go to the gentleman’s club conveniently located inside the hotel.

Soviet era building with same old worn out interior. Very disappointed. The people of Ukraine deserve a better hotel for visitors.

"Hotel in the center of Kiev"

6.0

This hotel has good location in the center of the city - you can easily walk to Maidan square and along the Khreshchatyk street, the very heart of Kiev. Hotel itself is quite old, but seems to be relatively recently renovated. The furniture in my room looked stylish and was functional. There was quite good working desk with two electrical sockets, covering my need for computer and the phone. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

"Few nights in Kiev"

6.0

Communication with hotel was good and fast. Location in the center probably one of the best. Rooms are ok but was expecting a bit more cleaner and better. With just whiping the floors and changing the carpets you can do a lot. Of course I understand it is an old building. Breakfast was nice on Sunday with man playing the piano.

"Hotel stuck in the 1930s"

2.0

Stayed in the 6th floor, a family room. Corridor leading to hotel room is like panels of wood trying to hide cables hanging from above. The furnishings are very very old, and the bathroom had a 60cm x 60cm bath, and breakfast sometimes we found chicken wings, sometimes fish....most probably left over from the dinner buffet. Definitely not worth
