The location is very close to a busy city street. There was so much noise. We were on 6th floor and the loud music, intentional backfiring/revving (setting off multiple car alarms) and vibrations from the nightclubs and the boy racers hanging out downstairs was shaking the dishes in the cupboards, rattling the windows and the plumbing in the walls. Apart from being obnoxiously loud, we could feel the vibrations shaking the building and it and kept us awake both nights until well past 3am. I could not believe how loud it was. It's like trying to sleep at a rave party.
