"Pepper Tree in Tahoe City"

Clean and comfortable, it is privately owned, and the hours of operation for the front office are from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. please keep that in mind as they are always booked. Other than that great location, the staff was kind. Also pet friendly, which is good to know next time I'll be bring my fur baby.

I wish there was some kind of common area that they would utilize for guests, I noticed the space that was for employees only. But I never saw anybody in there in the couple days I stayed during the week. I come for business, and sometimes I sit with employees and do continuous training and learning procedures of local businesses. I imagine it's because you do need the room during the winter months, which is very important for the community. Overall, I rate 8 out of 10.

Room smelled bad possibly from carpet that gets wet in winter from skiers boots and gear. Probably moldy underneath. when I got home and unpacked my suitcase my nightgown smelled like the room and we only slept there one night. Staff friendly. Nice view. Would never stay again.

This is an older property but, we were very pleased with its location; central to shopping, dining and the lake was right across the street. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and the room was comfortable.

The underground parking garage was tiny and not easy to maneuver. Overall I liked the hotel, but I left an item in the room and could not get anyone to return my call . No one answers the phone live. You have to leave a message. I left several messages and no one responded.
