"Stay Away"

Do not, I repeat, do not stay at this hotel. I’m sorry to say I have been staying there somewhat regularly for the past two years. The ONLY reason I stayed is because I travel with a 150 pound Rottweiler and the manager let’s him stay at no charge. This time my husband stayed with me as well and I am absolutely forbidden to stay there again. I travel a lot and my rule is I need clean sheets and hot water. The last 2 visits at OYO no hot water. None. The first room had not been cleaned. This place is a dump. I know hotel rooms in Pineville can be pricey. It is well worth it to travel a few extra miles and stay in Alexandria.

"Unsatisfied and disappointed customer "

This isn’t a place to stay for comfort... bed was lousy and the cleanliness was terrible and doors weren’t closing right and for the cost it’s not even worth it at all ... and this is the second Oyo Hotel I’ve stayed at and they have been both bad ... I wouldn’t call it a ā€œHotelā€ ...

This place was so nasty blood on the sheets to a mystery substance on the pillow. Not to mention that the room that we were given was literally under construction. We had no towels but there was a dirty one we found behind the door.

"They should call this place O-NO."

I've spend 3-4 nights every week in a hotel for work for the last 12 years. This was my top 3 worst. The Good: the AC was able to keep me cool. The Bad: Supposed to be a king sized bed and was given 2 doubles... both of which were hard as a rock. I was greeted up entry by a large bug on wall. While the hotel is listed as a non-smoking hotel... many rooms had smokers all standing right outside their doors and mine too. A large group that gathered and smoked outside my room and smoke drifted into my room through the large gap between the door and frame... which also let light in. The TV remote did not work and there was no button on the TV itself to turn it on. The cable for TV was laying on floor and ran from a hole in the wall by the door about 10’ to the TV area. While there was a desk, there was no electrical outlet at the desk to plug in my laptop. A light at the desk would have been great rather than across the room by the front door. The internet kind of worked for a short while, but was down most of my stay. The fridge did not cool. There was no soap in bathroom. Fortunately I bring my own. The floor of the room was sticky in multiple places. There were stains on the bed covers and on the towels. You'd think coal miners lived there. The toilet had hairs and crust. The mounted luggage rack was pulling out of the wall, and also blocking the mirror and sink area. There was mold on ceiling in bathroom area and heavy mold on the fabric shower curtain.

My problem is not with this Hotel my problem is with OYO. My stay was during Hurricane Laura. I showed up and you could see the roof was missing. My room was not available. My problem was I was told I would not be charged or have any problems. I was double charged for the stay, saying it was a no a show. The hotel refunded the money right away. Corporate OYO would not take down the double charge. I spent 8 hours between phone calls and emails to Expedia, credit card and OYO to get this reversed. When it finally did happen I was told it would be 10-14 days before they refunded my money. I consider this stealing as I was not supposed to pay until I checked in and I never checked in. In the future I will always choose to sleep my in vehicle over stay at an OYO hotel.

"Ummm... yeah"

4.0

It was the only hotel that had a room available due to Hurricane Laura. Linemen have all of the rooms taken. So I ended up spending $110 for a room at a crackhead motel. The room wreaked of cigarettes. The floors were disgusting (thank god I brought my flip flops). The bathroom door was hanging off the hinges and wouldn’t shut. The bathtub had pubes and hair from someone’s head on it. I was not impressed one bit. However, the sheets were clean and it was a place to sleep considering there was nothing else available anywhere. So I was thankful for that. The cable worked... so yay! Oh and the parking lot and sidewalks had garbage everywhere. If you have no other options, then get a room... otherwise, go somewhere else. I will say that the owners were polite and easy to deal with

"Stay Away!"

2.0

I arrived to the hotel just to be turned away by the front desk personnel. They wouldn’t honor the reservation I made (and paid for) online. Trying to get a refund was also an uphill battle. Overall, it was a very stressful stay. I wouldn’t recommend this property, and definitely would not recommend the company, as they made it very difficult to get a refund.
