Cliff House at Pikes Peak

We had a beautiful room with fireplace and jacuzzi. All staff were very nice! Beautiful room . It exceeded our expectations.

No big deal , but we would order from the menu for breakfast instead of the buffet the next time .

Location was great. Walkable to everything we wanted to do in Manitou.

⭐️ 1-Star Review: Thanksgiving Buffet at The Cliff House, Manitou Springs (2025) My family of five booked the Thanksgiving dinner buffet at The Cliff House this year, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had—especially at a total cost of nearly $500. The buffet was held in a very small room, which immediately felt cramped and underwhelming for a holiday meal. The food itself was shockingly poor in both quality and presentation. The “turkey” wasn’t carved or roasted—it was clearly pressed turkey, and it tasted exactly like something out of a cafeteria line. There was no salad station, no green beans, no yams, and not a single vegetable dish that felt like Thanksgiving. What was offered tasted canned, frozen, or reheated, and everything was so salty it was barely edible. They also mixed in brunch items, which did nothing to elevate the experience. There was a silver bin of waffles so tough I couldn’t even cut them. They had one small fruit platter, and many of the other options were completely picked over. Even worse, the staff was slow to replace empty trays or bring out anything fresh or hot. For a historic hotel with a reputation for charm and quality, this meal was a total embarrassment. We left hungry, frustrated, and shocked that we had paid such a premium price for food we simply could not eat. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I hope it helps other families avoid the same disappointment. The Cliff House can and should do much better for a holiday meal—this was nowhere near worth the cost. I would never ever ever go there again for any reason nor would I ever recommend it to anyone, ever

The breakfast is very good and took care of me very well I enjoyed it

I was supposed to have a room with just a single bed and a bathtub I was a little disappointed about that I had a double room and a shower

Well maintained and the decor and color was pleasant. Loved that there was bottled water in the fridge.

Love the history and close to walk everywhere.
