Cliff House at Pikes Peak

I was a returning guest to this hotel. As always, I loved visiting the well-decorated and well-appointed hotel during the holiday season. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the mountain views from my room. The bed was extremely comfortable as I fell asleep in view of the gas fireplace.I enjoyed breakfast at my favorite table in the dining room. My dining experience was superb.

After a stressful week, I was so looking forward to soaking in the spa tub. Much to my dismay, it was not working properly. A housekeeping staff member attempted to help and so did maintenance. Unfortunately, the jets would not start after the water was above them and pressing the white button. The front desk clerk was apologetic, but could not issue any type of refund since I booked through booking.com. I submitted an email concern after departing and have not received any feedback from the hotel. This was probably my last stay at this hotel.

This is a lovely old hotel in Manitou Springs. The staff is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The large hotel front porch is a pleasure to spend time visiting with friends. The food is outstanding. Cliff house is right off the Main Street of Manitou Springs.

The whole experience at Cliff house was just absolutely fabulous, everyone was so nice and pleasant.

The staff are all very personable and welcoming. Upon checking in, they upgraded our room for free giving us an incredible view and experience. We had a warm fireplace, a couch, and large spa tub that we used several times. The size of the rooms here made us feel like royalty. It felt like staying at a 5 star hotel. This has been our favorite romantic place to stay for the last 3 years. Wouldn't change a thing!

Absolutely gorgeous historical hotel in one of my favorite towns. All staff was super friendly :)

My only complaints were that the key cards were a pain, I got mine to work one time but besides that I had to get an actual physical key. And the shower didn’t get hot, it got warm ish? So I wasn’t like freezing but i definitely wasn’t warm in there I just had to be very fast.

Perfect location! Nice people, comfortable bed. Room had a little aged smell but nothing worth a complaint.

Was a good location in Manitou Springs. The front desk staff and the valet staff were exceptional.

The first room we had the bed was super hard. We had to actually move couldn’t stay in it for another night. The front desk staff (Vanessa) was superior and changing our room. The housekeeping staff could use a little bit of supervision. We did have to call a couple of times to ask them to clean something that they missed.

Bed was too soft, ended up with lower back pain
