Extended Stay America Suites - Dayton - North

No security, most of the staff was not helpful or friendly

When we checked in we went to the room. There are no ice makers in the hotel and we had one tray in the freezer that was half empty. We went to the desk and requested another ice cube tray, and some glasses. I guess I expected too much - I thought there would at least be glasses, if only paper cups in the room! There was a car parked in the disabled spot out front that had the driver's side door taped shut with wide tape all over it. A person sat on the passenger side talking to some folks when they came out. He looked like he was selling drugs! I would never stay there again!

It was good location but that's it, the whole week didn't have a fridge or smoke detector that worked, final day ended up leaving my tablet there wasn't even gone from that place before I noticed that I left it went back and it was gone and the cleaning lady had already been there and took out trash it wasn't on the bed where I left it, the front desk lady told me to wait while she went up then I went up and it was not there so she said do you have code on it I said yes and she just said well I hope my cleaning lady didn't take it.. And rushed me out of the room

Staff was great but I gave it poor rating because we had muffins from the grab and go breakfast and they had mild! My son ate some of it before I was able to catch it, I expressed this to the lady at the front desk later that day and she just brushed me off (black hair glasses) the room had ants even on the beds The overall room was worn down, water from shower and sink took forever to drain, we had to wait a day to get extra towels that we never received, the curtains were not in place and didn’t close all the way, the air conditioning system was very loud. Whoever took over this property is doing a terrible job. The only good thing about this place is the staff. Friendly and helpful. I believe her name is Lilly? Not sure, but older blonde lady was great.

6:30 am fire alarm went off , false alarm I guess . no one at the desk to check out ! Took forever to check in clerk wasn’t there. People smoking pot on premises.

Comfortable place to stay with reasonable rates compared to surrounding hotels. Good location with food and shopping within walking distance.

The area was close to the highway. It had some eating options within walking distance. The laundry facility was also convenient. Maybe would suggest a laundry supply vending machine in the facility. Internet connection was good. The Bed was very clean and comfortable.
