Metro Tempe Extended Stay

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The bedsheets were dirty, the door to the bathroom didn’t lock, and there’s no one to attend because there is no front office; you have to check yourself in and check yourself out, but they still charge like they have a front desk person whom they need to pay the website to get the code, and the room number was not working correctly and was a hassle, and to fix it, you have to call their help number, which was nothing but an inconvenience. There are way better hotels for the same amount of money you’ll pay here.

My experience was not good at all! I paid for my stay on Expedia, after Kristie found my reservation, she continued to book a new one! She was able to credit my account, nonetheless. her mistake caused a major inconvenience. We had limited hot water in our room and was informed that was due to outdating plumbing. After, speaking with Kristie, she was again apologetic and promised to refund at least $160, as that was the maximum she was allowed. I have not received any deposits nor has Kristie, responded to my emails or calls! I would highly recommend you bypass this place on a basic level theirs is limited hot water and possibly a dirty room waiting for you. ( And to boot our trash can had not been empty and there was no coffee pot in the room!

This apartment is old and our room is about 10 feet from a very busy road. We will have to listen to loud traffic all night. The pool is about as big as a bathtub and dirty. The shower head pointed into the bathroom and because the shower curtain was a foot too short, the bathroom would get flooded. We saw a cockroach run across the floor in the bathroom and had a daddy long legs spider inside a towel. Right in front of the outside main entrance I slipped in fresh dog poop. They do allow dogs but unfortunately some of those dogs bark incessantly. The walls are thin so you can hear everything and everone next door or in the hallway. We found the bed to be quite comfortabke , however the pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Although the staff are not always around, those we did mert were very friendly.

Overall, the building and room are modern and clean. The check-in process was frustrating and took about 40 minutes. Our particular unit had a leaking sink sprayer and the A/C unit sounded like a jet taking off. It was so loud so you either tolerated the noise or went without A/C. The pool/hot tub waters were not very clean. But with a few improvements, I would stay again.

This was by far the easiest and most stress free check in ever! I love this concept of Apartment/hotel. The room was fine and I loved having the kitchen and full size fridge with a freezer (ice cream!). Everything worked and was clean enough. Downside: it could have been cleaner and the bathroom/shower/tub was very old and worn but it got us clean. We will return for a stay again. Definitely a great value. Way more room than we expected which was wonderful. Good, solid property and a bargain, centraly located in the Phoenix valley, near the on ramp to a major freeway interchange so you can go anywhere from there. For us it was perfect, just what we needed. Thanks Metro. You really delivered.

The couch cushions were stained like nasty. We noticed when we pulled out bed from couch. No blankets in room for sofa bed and no one to call since no reception at night. Spa wasn't working. Bed was uncomfortable and not enough pillows. I found a roach carcass in bathroom. For price definitely not worth it at all. $200 for a Friday night 21st of March.

Room have several cockroach in the room, and trash under the bed, I reported to the front office and to Expedia, but they can't done nothing. No recommended, is cheap but dirty.

Check in process was easy, property overall was clean and in good repair. Would stay again.
