Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location close to highways and shopping centers and restaurants, and ample parking spaces Cons: Needs to be updated (Door bolt did not work, musty smell, sofa had stains), lack essential tools to prepare meals in kitchenette,

Would not recommend this property to future travelers

. I didn't like that one of the bath towel was dirty, it had fresh make up 😖 . Didn't had anything to drink or to make cofee in the room

Metro Tempe Apt was BY FAR the worst experience ever. Upon check-in, our room was nasty. Filthy carpet, bugs on the floor, smoke detectors hanging off walls. We left to buy a blanket as we didn't feel comfortable sleeping under the provided one. When we returned, the TV wouldnt work, co-ax cable completely broken. I went to the front desk and was told to call the number on the front door! I called, and was told that someone would bring us a cable soon. No one did. I called back and was informed that they could not bring a cable, but would switch our rooms. They would call in a few minutes with our new room. They never called. What happened next is unbelievable. At 1:30 am my wife was woke to a knock at our door. A guy claiming to be security was trying to get into our room stating the fire alarm was going off (it obviously wasnt). I told him no, he could not come into our room. After arguing, I closed the door and went back to sleep. At 3:00am another knock at our door. Another man saying that they must come into our room. I refused. He said that if I didnt let him in, he would call the police and have me escorted off the property in handcuffs. My wife had already called 911 so we told him the police were already on their way. When the police arrived, they checked that no alarms were going off, and said to "security," "We have been called here 8 times in the last week, you have to get this place under control." We were promised a refund, that has not arrived

There is no one on this property after hours. I had to respond to a text message from ann unknown number to provide my email and information so I could get checked in around 530pm. The halls and elevators looked dirty and had dried spills on the floors. The room had certain things that had been remodeled, but there were purple drip stains on the bathtub in addition to age related dirt stains at the bottom of the tub and on the sink. Overall it felt adequately clean, just not really comfortably clean. The bathroom is tight and crowded with the toilet and door (the door opens to the toilet and you have to kind of climb around the toilet to close the door). I had no hair dryer when I got out of the shower and had to call the after hours number about it just to be told no one is on the property until the next day business hours. No instructions for checkout and no one at the desk at 730am. I emailed twice with concerns and still haven’t received a response more a day and a half later. The bed was decently comfortable and I did feel it was a safe property as a woman with an 11 year old child. The parking lot was well lit.

It was nice don’t get me wrong but there were so many cockroaches in the kitchen it was disgusting. Our room was right by the freeway so it was very noisy. There is a deposit of 100 on my card and still have yet to receive it back.

Convoluted check-in process that tries to add hidden fees, room was dirty including the shower and toilet not being cleaned and trash left on the tv stand and night stand from the previous guest. The floor we stayed on when we exited the elevator had a horrible stench however it did not continue into the room. I had a second night booked here but cancelled to seek another room somewhere else. I would not recommend this place.

I didn't see roaches in my unit. The other properties in Chandler and Phoenix has roaches
