Metro Tempe Extended Stay

Communication about check-in and check-out was nonexistent. I had to call to make sure we still had a room and find out the check-in information. The room was good, we had one ant in the shower- which in the Phoenix area is not the big of a deal. Enjoyed having 2 King bed however.

The whole place smelled like burning plastic, the room wasn't clean, and the front desk closed at like 5 so I had the check in over the phone which also meant no room service past 5. The window was broken and didn't close all the way so our room sound like it was next to a NASCAR track. On the check in website there was a processing fee that was almost the price of the room itself which felt like an extra kick in the balls.

Room needed more cleaning. No towels no sheets for sofa. No hair dryer

Yes this place is cheap, but for a reason! Front desk shuts down at 5:00 and then an armed security guard sits at the front, for a reason! Everything but the lobby is gross and smells terrible. Do not stay here! Dangerous, dirty and no staff.

It's nearby a lot of shopping centers.

Pros The property was beautiful, and the unit was well staged. Staff was very friendly and helpful Cons Water, pressure and temperature in the shower was subpar, and there was a sound that was coming from the heater intermittently that was interruptive

Not clean, room had strong smell

Clean, quiet and smiling staff. Will definitely be a first choice next time we stay in Mesa.

Great find. Inexpensive and the room was very clean. Check in was very easy as well. Will stay again.
