the hotel is well located, provides parking spots (you have to pay for it during the day). the onsen is nice and breakfast was really tasty. the room was large and the futon bed comfy. the hotel has large lockers if you want to store your skiing equipment.

The location is great. Just a walking distance to the ski resort.

That area has very few restaurants, and the hotel's restaurant requires a reservation at least one day in advance, so you can't just walk in. This is a bit inconvenient.

First time staying at Granjam. Absolutely delightful. Room is clean, spacious and hotel staff are all thoughtful. Be sure to check out their daily dinner set menu...best japanese meals we have ever had!
