"Nothing like at 6am wake up call!"

Bed was great. Room sucked. AC turned on and off every two minutes. Did not have an option for constant fan to provide white noise or at least stop the entire off and on. At 6am an unbalanced dryer or something started in the "storage" room next door and was extremely loud. The desk attended didn't have a key and was not to helpful nor happy when we demanded a new room at first suggesting that mainenance would be there in about an hour and can check. He moved us next door where we could still hear the loud squeeking and this room smelled of mildue. He again moved us two more doors down (now four rooms away) and we could still hear it but with the AC back on it was faint enough to get a few more horrible hours of sleep.

"Good Location"

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room needed some updates (torn carpet, cracked sink, etc) but was spacious. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Overall the hotel was clean. The breakfast was really good. Lots of options and everything was tasty. They offered warm cookies late afternoon which was a nice touch.

"Excellent place to stay."

Had to be in town for medical reasons. Hotel was convienent in getting to hospital. Felt safe when traveling to and from hospital at night as well as day.

"Good"

We refused to stay due to bad area. Contacted the hotel who refused to release the reservation. We will no longer stay at holiday in express. Although we had a good experience at the hotel in monroe Louisiana the night before.

"Basic amenities not working."

Toilet would not flush correctly. Notified the from desk, they called maintenance, problem still not resolved. Bathroom sink would not drain, Notified the from desk, they called maintenance. Problem solved. Electrical outlet were so loose that they would not hold any cords for phone/laptop chargers,
