Super 8 by Wyndham Irving/DFW Apt/North

The real scam in advertising. Only coffee and a canola bar for breakfast, not a clean room and bathroom. Not recommended to future guests.

La cama era super cómoda. La habitación amplia y muy confortable todo. Después de un vuelo de 12 hrs llegamos y pudimos descansar muy bien.

No hay desayuno. Es solo un café , jugo y es todo. Pedí indicaciones del traslado del aeropuerto al hotel y nunca me las dieron, por mi cuenta investigué donde y como conseguir el traslado al hotel. El regreso del hotel al aeropuerto ya fue muy sencillo, pasaron por nosotros a la hr indicada.

The hotel states that they have a 24 hour airport shuttle. I was told to call when our flight landed (which was at 12:15am). I had to call 3 times and let it ring until it automatically disconnected. The 4th time they answered and told me they would call the shuttle. I waited 20 minutes and no shuttle, called back and he had to radio driver and driver stated he was on the way. Another 20 minutes and still no shuttle. We had to call about 10 times and on the last call we were told " the driver had something to do". This was after waiting for over an hour for them. I called an Uber and they arrived within 1 minute. We then get to the hotel and my husband asked if they'd discount the room due to this happening and it now being almost 2:30am and check out is at 11am, to which he replied "no I can't do that". OK fine. We go up to the room to find the door not latched, we haven't even been in it yet. My husband just pushed on the door and it opened. We go in and attempt to shut the door and it doesn't latch so I tried to lock it and noticed that the lock and door pieces don't match up so this door cannot be shut and latched to even shut. We hall all of our luggage back downstairs to tell him and he didn't seem concerned at all! He puts us in another room and says its a bigger room. At this point I really didn't care how big the room was. We go up to the 2nd room now. Get in and its stiffling hot. Go to turn on the air and the panel on the unit was totally missing with only one small knob that looked like what you would see if you took the knob off of your stove. I turned it and the unit came on and thankfully it was the air conditioning and not heat. Couldn't tell the degree because there was nothing there with panel gone.
