Premier Hotel Lybid

Hotel Lybid is centrally located and close to many interesting historic sites and churches in Kiev. In addition Hotel Lybid service and hospitality are very good and as a foreigner from Canada they treated me very well and were able and willing to accommodate all my desires. I would definitely consider Premier Lybid for my next trip to Kiev and would recommend anyone to be confident that the hotel and service hosts will go the extra mile for you if you simply treat them with respect. Long way from airport but position was Ok. Rooms clean and tidy . Not too far from Metro so good access to other parts of city. Plenty of places to eat within short walking distance.

It was good experience as I forgot to put 2 people while booking the room but reception was kind enough to not charge me extra

I have a good experience of this hotel and had to find more of the amenities as I got to know the places. I wish ore people could speak English. But overall, I enjoyed it. The sockets/adapters for electric gadgets did not work well.

Awful. Me and my wife on arrival checked-in at reception and both were asked to present our Passports which we did, they then photocopied our Passports, although not sure why as we had paid in full via Hotels.com. I went on to say that we are MARRIED and we are husband and wife. We went out Friday evening and returned to the hotel in the late hours of Saturday morning, we were jumped on by Security, who demanded why were here (Hotel) and why I was taking this woman (My wife) into the lift. I asked what the problem was and why they were so incredibly rude to us, they told me that I had to register with reception, I asked why and they told me that I either had to pay them money basically a bribe or I had to register at reception. I told them we are guests and we registered on arrival, stating we are husband and wife. This could have been handled very differently, and my wife was extremely upset for obvious reasons !!! Its clear this hotel has major issues, the Security personnel are crooks trying to make money on the side, shameful. I told the receptionists on checkout how very disappointed we were, they made NO apology so assume this is reoccurring theme. Get the impression this hotel is used as a knocking shop, and the Security guards are supplementing their wages. Hotels.com be aware !!!!

Thanks Premier Lyvid Management for changing my room, the newer was more comfortable, bed was way more comfortable!!!

Beautiful lobby, Clean room, Comfortable bed, Friendly staff, Downtown location. 3 min Uber from Maidan (about 2.5 CAD per trip) It is a well-known hotel during the soviet time. It got renovated beautifully 3-4 years ago. Staff are friendly, all speak well English Hotel is clean everywhere. The double bed in our room is very comfortable. Room with wall-size window, very good sound proof that we don't hear much noise from the street. We are 2 adults with one 3-year old child, so the room space is a bit tight. The diners we ordered from the restaurant is very good. The breakfast included with the room have a lot of variety, but only basic choice. I would recommend booking room-only, and order your food from the hotel restaurant. .
