Employees were very nice and patient. Wish had more for breakfast, room was musty but it was smoking room. The hot water did take a while to get hot. Housekeeping was so nice. Value for Price was good for our 2 night stay. Across from Burlington and some gas stations. Overall 9 out of 10

I liked how close it was to places.

It was dirty. There were roaches. The outside is dingy looking. It’s all unkept. I would not book here again. The employees and manager were not helpful.

The lobby was clean and well decorated, and smelled clean on arrival. The king sized bed and pillows were comfy.

The only working elevator sounded like electricity crackling behind the panel, and there were loud grinding and clunking sounds and shaking as it went up. The hallway seemed musty leading to our room, and the room itself was even more musty. There was a constant dampness under the ac unit, red juice stains on the floor, the carpet felt sticky and when we first arrived in our room, the tv was already on. The bathroom itself was decent, but the tub had very little grip on the floor, so I nearly slipped while showering. Based on the condition of the room, we checked to see if there were bedbugs in the mattress. Thankfully there were no bedbugs. We knew we wouldn’t be spending too much time in the room and it was late so we decided to keep our reservation and hoped that the hot breakfast would be a redeeming factor. We were very disappointed to learn that the only thing hot available were waffles you cooked yourself. The only source of protein was a tub of cold hard boiled eggs that had chalky yolks. Everything else was sweet cereals or sweet breads. It would’ve been nice to see some hot eggs or breakfast sausages for more protein. The dining area was somewhat clean, but in general the place looked rundown and sorely in need of renovation. In general, we were concerned about safety and security in the general location.

I had high hopes for this property even though it did have mixed reviews, the most recent reviews were positive. We arrived in town and checked in. The lobby itself is clean. The red flag we should have picked up on was my husband had asked to use the restroom to which the front desk handed him a key to unlock the door. Lobby restrooms normally do not need. We left without checking out the room thinking all would be fine to go have dinner. Upon return at 11:30, the parking lot was busy, a lot of loitering, and a huge stench of weed in the air. The entrance doors were locked and our room key did not work to open the doors. The front desk could be seen sitting but was inattentive to the door. There was a push button we used to get buzzed in. We got into our room and it smelled so bad, the carpet was sticky and the sheets had stains (clean but stained). On one bed it had blood stained dots and the other bed had blue stains on it (maybe cleaner). The bathtub was patched up, holes in door and dirty walls. We could not sleep. We checked out in the morning. I get that the property likely is under renovation and I’d like to give them a higher rating but overall the surrounding area needs a major sweep of the lively after hour activity and a total restoration of the rooms.

The elevator one was out and one was scary we took the stairs except to checkout with luggage. Smelt weed a couple times on the floor that went to our room
