I felt I was an inconvenience to the front desk staff during my check in. One night a lot of enthusiastic conversation noise coming from the front desk/lobby for hours up until 11:30pm. Poor room sound insulation.

"It made me sad to see a hotel that I remember is being so lovely and busy slowly decaying"

I like the location as I used to live in Grimsby and remember this hotel when it was new and vibrant and busy. I was quite disheartened to see that it was basically a ghost ship sitting there.

The room was not as clean as one would expect, not nearly enough power outlets, and just general wear and tear is this hotel needs basically to be gutted and redone or turned into condos
