White Pines Inn & Suites

DISAPPOINTING! We recommended this hotel to a family member, and it was embarrassing! We arrived eager to enjoy the pool, but the horrific condition and lack of maintenance were simply unacceptable. It was shocking to witness children swimming in such cloudy, filthy water. We attempted to use the hot tub, which looked acceptable, but to our dismay, it was cold. We left promptly, feeling utterly let down. This getaway has turned into a nightmare. Everything is broken, dirty, and outdated. Expecting a good night’s sleep was futile—I woke up exhausted every day due to the uncomfortable beds. I booked this hotel five months ago for a wedding when the reviews were positive, but it’s clear that the quality has seriously declined. Management needs to take immediate action to address these issues; it’s apparent they lack concern for guest comfort and feedback. We considered changing hotels, but the timing didn’t allow it. My advice: for an animal-friendly hotel, I strongly suggest removing the carpets in the rooms. We reached out to the manager to provide friendly feedback and avoid this review, but there was no return call.

The shower had black mold in the calking around tub, hair on bathroom floor , the jacuzzi was broken, the breakfast didnt have eggs.

1 ice machine broken, front door broken, hot tub out of service, bathroom floor coming up. The front desk staff was very nice and accomodating. Hotel was booked for 4 people, the room only had towels, pillows and bedding for 2 people.

The room that was alloted was dirty - And not cleaned up. The next room alloted was no smoking but smelled like smoke. Bathroom was dirty with hairs and not towels when. Becker in. The staff was able to deliver the towels later on in the room,

Check-in went well and we headed to our room. The first thing I noticed was the carpet did not look like it had been swept. The bed was definitely changed and fresh/clean. However, we then noticed there was used soap in the shower and take-out in the fridge. I approached the front desk with kindness, and they were more than accommodating, offering us a different room. They were very apologetic and handled it very well. The overall hotel and rooms were dated, but once we were given the new room, I have no major complaints.

I am not sure what happened, but we stayed here approx a year ago and had no problems. This year first thing we could not get a cart to put our luggage on to carry into the room. We were here for a swim meet so we had a bunch of water and sports drinks, as well as snacks to pack for the meet. The front desk just said I guess people kept them in their room, my daughter and I had to tag team and carry all the items in. We walked in the room and their are pieces of the ceiling on the floor, it needs vacuuming desperately, there is a clump of hair on the carpet. I asked to have the room vacuumend and nobody ever came. I asked again the following day for room service and nobody came after they stated they wrote down we wanted room service both of the days. There is mildew or black mold on the bathroom ceiling, No vent to turn on. The walls are all scuffed up need painting desperately. The keys for the room stopped working at least 3 different occassions, and the breakfast showed in the pictures a choice of hot options all that was served was biscuits and gravy every day or bagel and cereal. The room also had a stale smell. All the grass and landscaping was dying outside as well. It is in desperate need of rennovations. I would never stay here again.

Bed and pillows were great! Breakfast was good.

Rooms were dirty. Carpet and dressers were sticky. There were 3 large hair lumps on the bathroom floor. There were no bath towels in the bathroom.

Good place for short visit!
