The walls had stains, the light fixture on the ceiling had what looked like blood on it

We made a last minute, one night booking while on a trip. Everything went smoothly with check-in. Didn't have a chance to use the pool or gym. Free breakfast was fine for the cost. My only concern is that the AC was definitely leaking moisture into the room. The carpet was wet when we woke up. I can only think about the risk of mold and structural damage.

Pool wasnt working all weekend. Rooms very basic. Vending machines not working, all goodies behind the front desk. Elevator very slow. Bathroom very old fixtures/tub

This was a very dirty hotel but it was cheap so we went with it. It was not horrible but I did find a piece of sausage in the air vent of the ac unit… 😂 and the bottom of our feet turned black when walking on the carpet in the bedroom.

The hotel was ok, but the room was in need of a good amout of fixing things up. The main problem was how dirty the bathroom was and the fact that the shower was disgusting and the shower base was bad, as well as wayer only came out weak so the girls could not even wash their hair.

Dresser and desk were scratched up and the top drawer wouldn’t stay closed. We had to fold up some paper to get it to stay closed. The fridge needed defrosting so the freezer compartment could close. We were not able to pay with cash or split the bill which my work partner and I try to do so we have separate receipts for tax purposes. There was only one ice machine working and it was on the first floor. Our room was in the third floor. The hotel was clean, beds rather hard.

Staff, especially the housekeeping, were friendly, courteous and professional. When I checked out on Monday morning, the only guy 8:30 am, waited for me to say something so I handed the 2 key cards…did his thing and said “all set”. Not even a thank you, thanks for spending over $1,000 for a week, have a good day, NOTHING. I was the only person at the desk. I just heard they were bought out and it’s getting renovated. I would start by renovations with the front desk.

Staff at check in was horrible, but rest of entire stay was great, including different staff, etc. etc. Food was good. Bed was great!

I got the impression that the hotel was recently purchased, and the owners are working on improving it. For that, I give them an A for effort. Our room and hallway could use a coat of fresh paint. Our shower curtain was dirty. Do I really need to tell them that the shower curtains need to be taken out and washed on a regular basis? I guess so. There was some kind of styrofoam critter control near our ceiling. We have never ever experienced anything like that. They need to find a better more dignified permanent solution.
