White Pines Inn & Suites

Breakfast did not include scrambled eggs for 4 days in a row. When the sausage gravy for the biscuits ran out at 8:30, it was not replaced, breakfast goes to 9. The pet fee is $25 per night. They ddo not clean rooms frequently so the pet fee should be based upon the number of times they clean the room. They charged me an extra $50 which they claimthe credit card company is to reverse the charge as part of the security deposit, however, my credit card company did that and now i need to dispute the extra $50. Billing receipts do not show total paid just what is still owed at check out, weird.

They gave our room away. We got the emergency room up on the 3rd floor. Towel rack was ripped out of the wall. Chair in room was covered in stains. Stains on the floor. Stains on the comforter. Bed sheet was torn about an inch long. No towels. The door lock didnt work properly. Bathmat was dirty, not vacuumed very well. The breakfast area had smoke detectors that were removed. There was grey hair on the telephone. Lady who got our original room received a refund because the staff went in her room and didnt even try and knock or announce themselves ( i was standing outside the door and never entered). Breakfast....there were no utensils to pick up your bread so bread got touched by everyone. I WOULD LIKE A FULL CREDIT!!!!!! THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE

Perfect for a weekend couples getaway in Saugatuck! It was only about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Saugatuck over to Holland. They gave us the suite on the second floor which was wonderful. Clean, free breakfast in the morning, comfy beds. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on the west side of Michigan!

Hotel room was quite dirty. The floor was really dark and the furniture had stains on it. The grass outside needs to be cut. The staff was not really helpful and never apologized for any inconvenience. They needed to do some work on the pool area and had alarms blaring in rooms that scared my children. The elevator is very slow. The bathroom and mini fridge had hair all in it when I arrived. I could go on.. please do not book this hotel as I do not recommend this hotel.

Staff was great

Our reservation was not confirmed via e-mail, several hours after checking in, we were notified that our room was reserved for someone else, we were asked to register again. Hotel desk staff had no idea on what the issue was only that we had to check in again. Our room had spilled candy on the floor, definitely needed vacuuming! Checking out, asked for a copy of my bill, and had to wait several minutes until they could find someone that knew how to print a copy.

Only ice machine on first floor. Vending machines didn’t work. No hand towels by the sink. Plaster work was rough (almost off) in the bathroom.

Furniture beat up, horrible bed pillows, tub didn’t drain, fire alarm hanging down from ceiling, smelled bad, key cards didn’t work in outside doors, rude staff, poor check-in service. I’d like a refund of my $264.

The hot tube and pool was really great and the patio. The rooms were good. They are going to be remodeling in January

Needs renovation badly—everything was falling apart. The floor was moist and there was mold in the bathroom.
