Relais Castel Bigozzi

Something special about this place! May not be the most luxurious rooms, but they are charming and well appointed. Our 2 rooms had beautiful views and our little atone terrace covered in ivy was so lovely! The pool area had amazing views and such a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the setting. The location was very convenient in terms of reaching all the popular Tuscan sites, especially my favorite Siena! We hope to come back to Castel Bigozzi again soon!

View was fantastic, room was a good size, bathroom mirror was too high for my wife to look in to, lighting was so poor in the bathroom that I had to shave using the mirror in the bedroom, pool area was good and the staff were pleasant.

Nice secluded location and beautiful facility. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a spectacular location at the top of a hill. The rooms were amazing, the pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious and was served in a separate building on the grounds with amazing views. Has free parking, elevator. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere, we only had booked for one night. We walked down the hill to the town for dinner. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to all.

We believed we had booked a hotel that had barbeque grill which we took as occasional evening meal option, there was in fact a barbecue but no use seemed apparent. We included the breakfast but were unhappy that flies were crawling over the majority of it, seemed bizzare that packed breads and pastries were in covered jars while fresh pineapple, fruit, cakes and croissants were uncovered on plates, also no tongs were provided to pick up food. There were beds round the pool but apart from that very little seating was available on the extensive grounds. Should be made clear no evening meals.

Our second visit to Hotel Bigozzi and again it doesn't disappoint! The setting is close to the wonderful hill towns of Monteriggioni and Siena. The pool overlooks a hillside filled with vineyards... Just lovely.

We were 4 young adults looking for a realxing break with enough access to local food, wine and attractions yet far enough away to feel like we were on our own little escapism from reality. Hotel are great and look after you. The pool is gorgeous and the hotel location is ideal for 'away from it all relaxation yet close enough to dip into the culture' should this be what you desire.

Great location in the heart of Tuscany, within 20-30 min drive from Siena and San Gimignano and 50 min drive from Florence. Quiet picturesque place surrounded by olive trees on top of a hill. The views are breathtaking. Spent 5 nights there with family and loved it. You will need a car to get to the place and move around the area. Not too many restaurants within a walking distance (only a small limited grocery store). The place is more like a B&B than a hotel. Breakfast was okay and will fix you a lunch snack (cold cuts/salads) if you ask. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms were large (by Italian standards), comfortable and functional but not fancy. Beds and pillows were rather hard and not as comfortable as other hotels. Overall nice place and very enjoyable experience. Would definitely go back again if in the area.
