Hotel Saint Petersburg

Very happy

Very nice view from room. Nice room size 33m2. Location is really good. What is missing is gym and sauna.

The hotel is attractively designed. Rooms at the front are so nice, & have truly stunning views of St Petersburg; beautiful day & night (floodlit). Receptionists speak good English. The restaurant on the top floor has good food & great views. Your room should contain a flyer which gives 10% off (they also emailed me about this offer, but you have to bring the flyer to avail of it; they don't say this in the email). Russian & European food; inventive dishes include duck with pear, or a side of broccoli with peanuts & oyster sauce. Small portions. It's about 45 minutes walk to the city centre (Hermitage); very scenic walk. Or 15-20 minutes walk to Finlandsky Station, from where you can catch the metro (2 stops to Moscovsky Station). It's a handy location of you're arriving or leaving by train at Finlandsky; though it's equally convenient to get the metro from there into the centre. There's a supermarket behind the hotel & a few more in the area. (A tip, if you're catching a train to Helsink from Finlandsky; arrive at least half an hour before, as there are security & passport checks before you board. If the train's crowded it gets a bit chaotic. Also, the train doesn't depart from the main station entrance; to reach it, walk down the left side of the station (as you face it) there's a door towards the back with a small sign (something like 'international express').)

Nice hotel, good breakfast, close to everything, nice view and comfortable bed.

Stayed in a deluxe room on a high floor which had an amazing view. The room was nicely appointed and clean. Check in staff were very nice. The restaurant service was slightly lacking (no cutlery provided and slow) and not all room amenities were replenished each day, but otherwise everything is very good. Lots of tourists for the buffet breakfast each day so get in either when it opens or after 8:30 if you want a less hectic experience, the buffet food was good.

Large suite, very comfortable bed, large bathroom with large bath.

Overall this is a great hotel. It over looks St. Petersburg and is right on the water with beautiful views. If you are walking its a bit of a hike to get to things becuase it's across the river but there is a metro station 10 min away and uber is super cheap. The room had AC, was modern and very comfortable. The bar on the roof is moderately priced and the view is fantastic. The restuarants were decent, good solid food nothing spectacular but good. Breakfast is massive and has many options and even a short order area to get omlets! Overall this is a good quality hotel, with great views.

I stayed for two nights at the hotel. I booked an executive room with views of Neva River and it was brilliant. Spacious room and highly recommended. I was disappointed with the staff at the reception especially during check in. They were not friendly and showed too much attitude. They should be friendly and polite to customers. (A hello, welcome and thank you goes a long way). I would rate this hotel a 8.5/10 for facilities and location. Customer service needs to be improved: 4/10.
