Castle Bamboo Waikīkī Hotel

Enjoyed my stay here. Reasonable price. Studio kitchenette. Comfortable. Lovely pool & hot tub & restaurant. Close to everything. Cecelia & Tom-very helpful! Good AC, hot shower, has a bathtub 🛀

No daily housekeeping but you can ask for towels & blankets - I would like to see housekeeping after 3 nights.

The shower temperature sometimes ran cold.

Great location, partial ocean view, great staff, especially the lady named Cecilia (if I remembered her name correctly), beach towels. Advice: book parking at the hotel ahead of time, they only have a few spots in the garage. Almost impossible to find free street parking spots in the evening and parking garages nearby are more expensive.

There was a missing part of the bathroom window, which allowed a lot of outside noise into the room. There’s also new construction very close by, so it can get noisy during the day. The A/C blows directly onto the bed, which was uncomfortable at times. Additionally, there’s no housekeeping service if you stay for less than a week.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Waikiki Beach. There are loads of eating and shopping options nearby. The pool is an oasis in the busy city. Our room had a kitchenette and sofa, and we used both. The pina coladas are tops!

Honolulu is noisy and bright, so bring your ear plugs and sleep masks.

The bed was not comfortable and cushions on sofa were stained

Fabulous location. Helpful friendly staff. Comfortable room. I will recommend. Value for money. Great relaxing garden area around pool and hot tub.

Access to beach chairs & towels. Pool bar & restaurant on site were great. Hotel close to all facilities.

There were no chairs on the balcony & a clothes horse would have been useful for wet clothing.

The pool area and restaurant/bar was the main reason I booked there, and it did not disappoint! The bartenders were so great, they treated us like family. The food menu was small, but delicious!
