Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront

Beautiful and attentive staff. Stayed to go to a concert everything was so close!

The location is perfect. Right by downtown Jacksonville riverfront.

The water is incredibly bad. So bad to the point where I only showered twice in a week long Florida heat trip and washed my face with bottled water. The only reason I’m writing this review is because of the smelly water in the hotel. They need to investigate and if needed invest in a water treatment system. Smells like sewage water.

I selected this hotel because of the location to the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. The location was perfect...a short walk to the Festival.

There were 2 elevators out of order. With the large number of people at the hotel and moving about at the same time (before and after the Festival) this made for serious congestion and delays. Also, the cost to park is ridiculous.

overall room experience was lower than I expected from a Hyatt property. Bathrooms need a major refresh. Beds not comfortable.

I love the hotel and the cleanliness of common areas. The pool has a wonderful view. The frozen drinks were undrinkable but the bartender was efficient. The Tavern service was inefficient and the 2 servers we had were unkind both nights.

3-star hotel at a 4-star price. Rooms are worn down and out-dated. Clean enough room. Amazed there’s a Morton’s Steakhouse attached - really gives the wrong impression. Valet not helpful at all.

It is a convenient location to downtown venues. If you can get a River view it is even nicer.

I think the maid staff forgot to leave cups for water. There were cardboard cups for coffee but not water.

The breakfast was great, but lunch at the Tavern was amazing. All in all, very satified with our visit!

The bed in the hotel room was hard as a rock, but I never sleep well in hotel beds.
